I started painting portraits one Christmas when I found myself searching for the perfect gift for my mom. After days of thinking, inspiration struck: paint a portrait of her dog, Thumbellina who is sweet only to her, spunky, and fiercely loyal Thumbellina’s personality was captured on canvas, and I realized that I get joy from creating a snapshot of cherished memories and loved ones through art.
